One thing that has stuck me deeply about jazz is the sense of community. The sense of welcome and encouragement that I got as I started out I feel is important to value and pass on! This is pretty special. I was contacted by radio presenter David Self some years ago to interview me about my music. We became good friends and over the years Mr Self has sent me various pieces of interest. This one’s a gem, it’s his interview with one of jazz's greatest exponents, Dave Holland. In it, Dave talks candidly about his music and inspiration supported by David Self’s warm, unobtrusive interview style. Mr. Self is a passionate about jazz and has supported it through his many radio shows where he has interviewed many of the greats.
